Rain for days!!

This week for me, was probably one of the hardest weeks I have had on my mission. To start it off, we had bike week this week and Elder Zundel and I probably biked around 50 miles. And that was in 3 days. So on Thursday, right as we were heading out of the apartment it wasn't raining. We knelt down and said a prayer as we went out and it began to just pour during it. Once we said amen, we threw on our jackets and headed out! It was crazy. We biked probably 15 miles in the pouring rain. It was tough. We were just soaked like none other, and I forgot my tires were low, because I had forgotten to fill them up. But luckily the appointments we went to didn't fall through and they were kind enough to let us in:) I don't know why they let us in. It looked like we had jumped in a lake, swam for 3 hours, and got out and went in. We were that wet.

So that night we got in and our phone was working. Then the next morning our phone wouldn't work. Apparently the water had seeped into the battery and broke it. So we have been without a phone for 3 days now. Now let me tell you, missionary work is hard to do with out a phone, especially on bikes!! It just causes more biking haha.

Friday after weekly planning, we biked and it was so hot. I don't even want to tell you how bad it was because I looked like it had just been raining haha. But we were able to see a few people which is good. Then on Saturday we went so hard. We biked probably 20 miles trying to see all our investigators and get them to church. Apparently we didn't do a good enough job because none came. But its all good, the Lord will bless us in a different way! Anyways yesterday I borrowed the sisters batteries because I had to make a few calls as a district leader to report numbers. During it I got a call from President Olson, and he asked me if I would finish an Elders training. The elder who was training him got called to be an AP so I guess I've got some big shoes to fill in. I will be back in Mississippi. And I will be serving in Clinton! I am so excited because I will be in the Madison District. That is my old area and the district leader is in Madison. So when we go on exchanges, I will be able to go see the Alhalteh's and Chris! I am so excited:)
